Privacy policy
Signing in
You sign in with a Google account from a school or university domain. Google tells Likit your e-mail address and name; Likit checks that Google signed that answer and keeps nothing else from your Google account. Likit never sees your Google password.
What is collected
- Account: your e-mail address, display name and, if you enter it, your student ID. Used to identify you in a class and on answer papers.
- Handwriting in exam and labbook mode: strokes, timestamps, page numbers, and photos you choose to place in a lab notebook.
- Answer papers: the PDF of your written exam, kept so your teacher can grade it and return it to you.
- Grades: scores, the teacher's comments and marks on your paper, and any re-check request you send and its answer.
- Files a teacher uploads: exam files and lab notebook templates.
- Minimal operational data: check-in times, submission state, and server error logs.
- Exam integrity record: during an exam, from the cover page until you seal your answers, the tablet you write on tells the proctor whether the exam screen is locked (screen pinning or Guided Access), when you leave the app and for how long, and whether a screenshot or screen recording was made. Nothing is recorded outside an exam, nothing on the screen is captured, and the record is kept and deleted with the exam room.
- Crash and sign-in reports: if the app stops unexpectedly, or a sign-in fails, it sends the error, where in the app it happened, the app version and the last few screens you visited to the same Likit server that runs the classes. Your name, e-mail, file names and anything you have written are never part of the report. You can turn this off in Settings.
What is not collected
- Notes mode sends nothing to the server. Your own PDFs stay on your own drive; the app reads them through the system file picker and keeps a local cached copy on the device.
- No advertising, no third-party trackers, no sale of data.
- No access to contacts or location. Camera and photo access is used only when you add a photo to a lab notebook.
Grading with an AI assistant
A teacher may choose to grade with an AI assistant of their own. Likit does not send anything to any AI service. It writes the answer papers and a grading guide into a folder the teacher picks on their own device or drive; what the teacher then does with that folder is under their own institution's rules. Scores that come back are drafts: students see only grades the teacher has reviewed and confirmed.
Where it is stored
- Cloudflare (Workers, Durable Objects and R2) runs the service and holds the data.
- Backblaze B2 holds a nightly backup copy, so a term's work survives an outage or a mistake.
All traffic uses HTTPS. These providers store the data for Likit and do not use it for their own purposes. Administrators access data only as needed to support the service.
Who can see it
- Students see only their own work, and only the grades and comments the teacher has chosen to return.
- The class owner and proctors see the work of members of that class, according to their role.
- Nothing is disclosed to third parties except where required by law.
Retention and deletion
Finished work is deleted 90 days after it finishes — an exam 90 days after it is sat, a labbook 90 days after it is closed. Work still under way is never deleted on a timer, however long it runs: a labbook is written over a whole term, and its first pages stay until the last ones are done. A class owner may also delete a class at any time, which removes its exams, writing, answer papers and grades from the service at once. Backup copies of anything deleted, by you or by the 90-day sweep, are removed within a further 90 days. You can delete your account yourself in the app or on the web, or ask for a copy of your data through the support page — see Delete your account.
Children
Likit is a tool for schools and universities, used under the school's direction. It is not directed at children outside that setting.
Your rights
Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562, you may request access, a copy, correction, deletion, and object to processing of your personal data. Contact the developer at the address on the support page.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page changes with it.

ระยะเวลาเก็บและการลบ
